Job Description

To assist the Head Chef as Sous Chef in the Day to Day Running of Barbacoa Kitchen and a team of 15 staff Members

Daily Duties Include

• Cooking and Preparation
• Menu Development
• Maintaining Mexicano High standards
• Stock take Ordering and Rostering
• Hygiene Control and Grooming standards of staff
• Staff Management 15 staff Members and Training
• Successful Daily running of a Professional kitchen
• Ability to Run Kitchen without the aid of Head Chef
• Discipline Underperforming staff
• Provide Incentives
• Administritive duties
• Delegating tasks to a Large group of staff
• Problem solving
• Meet food cost Targets regularly
• Assist FB Manager with Training
• Working under pressure
• Assisting work practices for Kitchen stewards




Attributes

The candidate must posses all the above skills and would have previously worked in a similar position for a minimum of 3 years.
Have good oral and written English language.
